The meeting with the Indri Indri, the largest lemurs in the reserve Perinet is always an emotional time. The local guide will tell us about his habits and his legend. Andasibe-Mantadia National Park (Perinet) has a unique wildlife, orchids and other rare plants; many species of lemurs, reptiles, and amphibians … this exceptional nature can be explored on foot between waterfalls, rivers and rainforests. End our trip with relaxing stay in Nosy Be to enjoy the beach.

Day 1
Antananarivo (arrival) – Andasibe NP
Arrival in Antananarivo.
Welcome to Madagascar
Welcome by the guide to the airport and go directly to the east of the island: Andasibe National Park. This is one of the main roads of the country, it is relying the most important sea port in Toamasina and the capital Antananarivo, a heavy traffic. We leave the highlands by the steep slope of Mandraka where starts the forest.
Arrive in Andasibe in the late afternoon.

Day 2
Visit of Andasibe NP - Antananarivo
We walk with a local guide to discover this protected area. It is mainly covered with primary forest pecullar to the east side of Madagascar. Many rare and endemic species can be found in this rain forest. The biodiversity is so amazing, we can meet Indri indri the largest of lemurs here. His behaviour is fascinating and your guide will explain all about him. Many other species are living there such as Grey Bamboo lemur (Hapalemur griseus), Wooly lemur (Avahi Laninger) and others. Flora is also very interesting, there are several species of medicinal plants.
Right after the visit, we head back to Antananarivo
We have lunch in a local restaurant then we stop on the way to visit of the butterfly farm to see an amazing concentration of chameleon, gecko, leaf-tailed gecko and butterfly of course.
Day 3
Antananarivo – Nosy Be
Pick up time at the hotel depending on the flight schedule
Depending on the flight, Fly to Nosy Be (1h15).
Welcome at Nosy Be airport, the hotel staff does your transfer.
Have lunch and then an afternoon free.
Day 4
Day excursion to Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely
We take you in the hotel after a hearty breakfast; join the port to get a ride on a speed boat towards the aquarium.
Stop in Nosy Komba to stroll in the village and meet lemurs, and then navigate towards Nosy Tanikely which is one of submarine Reserve in Madagascar. You will enjoy it if you like that !
Snorkel around the coral reef to discover its rich and preserved underwater fauna and flora.
Relaxation and swimming, and then short walk to the old lighthouse to get a good view of the lagoon.
Head back to Nosy Be in the afternoon to get there by 5.00 p.m.
Day 5
Day at leisure in Nosy Be
We offer a day relax for this last day of your holidays.
Many activities are possible from the hotel : water sport, fishing, excursion in some islands, boat trips, motorbike or bicycle renting.
One full day of real pleasure ! The hotel reception will advise you and help you with all these activities.
We recommend a walk to Mont Passot in late afternoon for a beautiful panorama of the island at sunset, or just lazying around on the beach and enjoy your hotel facilities

Day 6
Nosy Be - Antananarivo
Morning at leisure after breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport to fly to Antananarivo.
Lunch on spot or in Tana depending to flight schedules. If the time allows we make a quick stop in the crafts market to look for basketry, marquetry, wood carvings, metal toys, miniature cars and some semi-precious stones, all in very relaxed mood.

Day 7
Antananarivo – fly home
