Day 01

MOSCOW – CITY TOUR

Arrival to Moscow Meeting with English speaking guide Transfer to the hotel and Check in You will visit Vorobyovy gory. The height of viewpoint is 80 meters and there you can see a stunning view of Moscow city. Vorobyovy gory are considered to be one of the seven hills on which Moscow was built. On the top of the Vorobyovy hills there are Moscow State University building complex. Main building of the University is the famous tower building and it was the highest building in Moscow to the moment it was built in 1953 – its height with spire is 240 meters. MOSCOW – CITY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel &Meeting with guide During the Sightseeing tour by Moscow city you will see the Red Square - is often considered the central square of Moscow and all of Russia. The walk on the Red Square will be followed by St. Vasiliy Cathedral (outside), which was ordered by Ivan the Terrible to mark the 1552 capture of Kazan from Mongol forces. Also you will appreciate the GUM- Moscow's "State Department Store", takes up almost the entire eastern side of Red Square. Then you will visit Kremlin, Russia's mythic refuge, a self-contained city with a multitude of palaces and churches, a medieval fortress that links the modern nation to its legendary past. Lunch at the Indian restaurant You will have the Moscow’s metro tour. The Moscow metro is probably the world’s most magnificent subway. Beautiful, ornate and grand, decked out with stunning examples of socialist realist art, the Moscow Metro is the world’s largest subway system in terms of passenger rides, carrying eight to nine million passengers on an average weekday. Visit Arbat Street It is one of the oldest streets in Moscow. Its name comes from the word "Arbad" or "rabad" which means "suburb". In the years 1974 - 1986 Arbat became Pedestrian Street with many shops, cafes, shopping areas, restaurants, street vendors and so on. The building is magnificent, but not as old as it looks: it was rebuilt in 2000 after Stalin demolished the original. You will see the most beautiful palaces and monuments of the city, such as the Winter Palace, the Mariinsky Palace and Michael Castle, the Bronze Horseman and the monument to Catherine the Great. The Hermitage is the largest museum in Russia and one of the largest in the world, with more than 3 million works of art. It has collections of sculpture and painting, glass and porcelain, tapestries and jewelry, prints, antiquities from the classical period, weapons, medals, coins, precious books. You will find a great collection of paintings from the Italian, Flemish, French and Spanish schools. SAINT PETERSBURG – PUSHKIN – CATHERINE PALACE & PARK - SHOPPING

Breakfast at the hotel & Meeting with guide Pushkin. Catherine Palace and Park The small town of Pushkin, located in 30 km, south of St. Petersburg, was named in honor of the greatest Russian poet. Formerly called Tsarskoye Selo, or "Village of the Tsars". It is one of the most beautiful imperial residences, Catherine's Palace, whose name is dedicated to the wife of Peter the Great, Catherine I. It was a favorite place of Catherine II the Great, with its incomparable Amber Room, entirely covered with Baltic Amber. Hidden to visitors for nearly a century, it has been completely restored in 2003, to mark the Tercentenary of St. Petersburg. The beautiful architecture of the palace is reflected in the surrounding park, where you can see forests, lakes and ponds, streams, bridges, sculptures.
